Veterans

BEACH PASSES:  The City of Long Branch extends free admission to the beaches to year-round residents who are veterans of World War I & II, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam and all other conflicts where American troops used armed force.

SCHOOL ATHLETIC EVENTS:  The Long Branch Board of Education has made available passes for all Long Branch home games to year round residents who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States in times of conflicts.

To apply for a beach pass and/or school athletic events pass, send a copy of your DD-214, proof of residency and copy of your driver's license to:

OUTPATIENT CLINIC:  The Fort Monmouth V.A. outpatient clinic is up and running now.  If you are eligible for VA services contact 732-532-4480 to make an appointment to be seen at the Fort Monmouth Clinic.  Due to security concerns, emergency care will not be available at Fort Monmouth.  If you have an emergency situation, you should call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.  Care at Fort Monmouth is not available for temporary residents.

COFFEE EXPRESS:  Members of the 42nd Infantry Division Support Command Division and the 50th Main Support Battalion of the NJ National Guard are currently serving in Iraq for a period of 12 months.  Since the supply of coffee is limited and the Post Exchange is small, "Coffee Express" is asking for donations of regular and flavor blended coffee and send it to a soldier of your choice or to the
